One of the stand out new songs that I heard recently is Ghost Town City by the Irish band Corner Boy. The five piece Wexford based band recently released their E.P. True North on Itunes and they are currently touring Ireland to promote it. As always there is a great variety of music genres released by Irish music artists and as many music magazines and websites have noted Corner Boy deserve to do well internationally. Hot Press magazine recently in their review of True North highlighted the vocal style of the band’s singer Michael D’Arcy and how they mix Irish traditional music and North American folk music.
The music video for Ghost Town City is also a mini film short in itself.
